夏も近付き、すっかり陽が長くなってきて、なんだか嬉しい限りですね！
しばらくライヴがないけど、みんな元気にしてるかな？
Ｄは相変わらず忙しい日々を送っています（笑）！
ブログやラジオではもう言いましたが、現在Ｄはレコーディング作業の真っ最中！（笑）
というのも、ニンテンドーDSソフト「トワイライトシンドローム～禁じられた都市伝説～」のエンディングテーマと、映画「トワイライトシンドローム デッドゴーランド」主題歌が決まったので、その音源制作だったのです。
このタイアップのお話を頂いてすぐに曲を書き下ろしました。
前者は「波紋」、後者は「闇の国のアリス」というタイトルにしました。
ゲームと映画はそれぞれホラー要素のある作品だとお聞きしましたが、実は詳しい内容はよく知りません（笑）。
とりあえず僕個人がこの楽曲に込めた想いはとても深いので、またいずれお話させて頂きたいな、と思っているのですが、一言で言うならば「闇の中から救ってあげる」というコンセプトを持って作詞作曲しました。
この世は右も左も病んだ心が渦巻く世界。深い闇の奥、飲み込まれてしまう前に僕は君を救ってあげたい。
２曲共、既存曲の「Alice」に関連する世界感に仕上がっています。
というわけで、「BIRTH」発売、インディーズラストライヴの熱も覚めやらぬ中、更なる空を目指すために昼夜がんばってるから、みんなまた会える日までよい子で待っててね！！
じっとしてられない、なんて子は事務所にお手紙送ったり、携帯サイトのファンメールでも送ってね！
さてさてそんな「BIRTH」なんですが、そろそろ聴き込んでもらえた頃でしょうか？
一曲一曲に込めた想いを、前作の「Neo culture」から書くようにしていたので、今回も一曲ずつ綴っていきたいなと思います！
まずは主題にもなっている「BIRTH 」、Ｄ自身の新たなる誕生の意味を持たせました。
メジャーデビュー１曲目に相応しく仕上がり、僕自身とても気に入っています。
この曲のはじまりは、去年の12月のはじめに実際に僕が見た夢卵」という不思議な「夢の話（オリコンコラム第140回参照）と、現実世界がリンクして生まれました。
孵化というものは誕生の時を諭し、自らの力を持って殻を内から破るものであり、外界から割られるものではありません。
理想を眺めているだけでは手に入らないものなのです。
だからそんな理想と言う名の殻を僕は壊してしまいたかった。
殻を破ってしまったら一体どこへ向かえばいいのか、という問いに答えはひとつだけ。
翼を持つ者は誰に教えられるわけでもなく、必ず目指す場所があります。
それは空。体の中を巡る遺伝子が、そう呼びかけているのでしょう。
きっと僕もそう。僕は「君」という僕に呼ばれている気がしてならない。
生まれたばかりの柔き卵は、強い想いを秘めていました。
やがて成長し、殻は少しずつ硬く強くなりました。
とはいえ「卵」はやはり脆く弱いもので、時には割れてしまいそうになることもしばしば起こりました。
そんな時にいつも優しく抱きしめてくれた母なる腕、すなわち関わってくれた多くの皆さんの腕にＤという卵はずっと守られてきたのです。
今度は僕の番、みんなに空を見せてあげたい。
多くの方々への感謝の気持ち、やっと手にした強さ。
「BIRTH」が、メジャー１曲目でなければならない理由はそこにありました。
そして新しい世界へと羽ばたいた僕らも、やがてはその空の果てが「新たなる卵の中」であることを知る日が来るのでしょう。
そんな時はまた、新たな夢の空へと羽ばたくために、再び殻を破ればいい。
夢が大きければ大きくなる度に何度でも、僕は殻を打ち破っていきたい。
秘めたる想いが強さに変わっていく姿を、見守り続けてほしいですね。
楽曲的には、まず先行したイメージを元に曲作りをはじめ、一番最初に浮かんだのがイントロ部分のヴァイオリンのフレーズでした。
前々からヴァイオリンの音色に魅力を感じていて、Ｄの楽曲にも取り入れたいなと思っていたのですが、今回の「BIRTH」、つまり誕生を祝福する感じにイメージがぴったりはまったので、バックに羽が舞うようなフレーズにしました。
そして今回レコーディングには斎藤ネコさんという素晴らしいアーティストの方に演奏してもらいました。（ＰＶに写ってらっしゃる方ではありません）
素晴らしい演奏力と表現力を備えていらっしゃる方で、また機会があれば、是非ご一緒させて頂きたく思いまいました！（ネコというお名前も素敵すぎます！（笑））
メジャー初の作品として、それぞれの見せ場を盛り込むことができて良かったなと思います。
ドラムのツーバスや５弦ベース、７弦ギターもそうですが、特に今回、ツインギターのソロのハモリはやりたかったことのひとつだったので。
PVも良い絵、撮れてましたね！
次の日記ではカップリングの「夢想花」について書きたいなと思ってます！
そしてそして、遂にメジャー初ワンマン「BIRTH～空への回帰～」が８月２日（土）のSTUDIO COASTに決定しました！！
僕の中では広がり続けるものとして、夢＝空（宇宙）というイメージがあって、メジャーという夢を手にし、改めて見つめ直すという意味も込めて、今回は夢への原点回帰的な意味を持たせました。
夢を創り出した自分が、その夢の世界で現実的に夢を手にし、新たな自分と新たな夢が生まれるという意味です。
ワンマン以外にもイベントライヴに出演する予定もあるので、夏を楽しみにしててくださいね！！
おっと、5/5のインディーズラストワンマン、赤坂BLITZもDVD化が決定しました！
他にも色々、みんなに伝えたいことがあるんだけど、まだ発表ができないのでおとなしく我慢しています（笑）。

Summer is approaching, and the days are getting longer; somehow, it’s pleasant.
We haven’t performed live for a while now, is everyone doing fine?
D still remains as busy as ever (laugh)!
I’ve talked about this by way of blog and radio, but right now, D is in the middle of recording!
We’re handling the ending theme for a Nintendo DS Game, “Twilight Syndrome ~kinjirareta toshidensetsu (Twilight Syndrome ~forbidden urban legend~), and theme song for the movie “Twilight Syndrome Dead Go Round”.
As soon as we were informed of this tie-up, we immediately wrote down a few songs.
For the game, we decided on the title “hamon” (ripple), and for the movie, “yami no kuni no arisu” (Alice in the land of darkness?)
I have heard that the game and the movie contain elements of horror, but to tell you the truth, I am unaware of the details. (laugh)
Personally, due to the fact that a lot of thought went into making the songs, I would like to reveal more; but to sum up using the concept of “salvation from the darkness”, I wrote the lyrics.
This world is full of hearts burdened with sickness. I would love to lend a hand before you find yourself overwhelmed with the darkness that prevails.
I’m adding the finishing touches for two songs with the world from an existing song, “Alice”.
After the release of “BIRTH” and the fever of our last indies live, as we work hard, day and night, aiming for the sky, till the day we can meet all of you again, please wait like good kids!!

I want to bind each and every songs that we have put our thoughts to, just like our previous work “Neo Culture”!
First of all, “BIRTH”, which has become the theme, it carries the image of rebirth.
As it is our first major song and is fitting as a finale, it has become my favorite.
This song was created in December last year, as I saw visions of the wonderful dream egg (refer to oricon column issue 140) and forged a connection with it to the real world.
As the act of hatching is a symbol of birth, (the new-born) destroys the shell from inside; the egg not to be broken from outside.
We cannot obtain anything by mere lipservice to ideals,
which is why I ended up destroying the shell called “ideals”
“After the shell is broken, where should I go?” There lies only one answer to that.
Even if no one says so, those with wings most certainly have a destination they aim to reach.
“That’s the sky. ” The gene that flows within you would call it that, wouldn’t it?
For me, it’s the same. I feel that I was called by the ‘me’ called ‘you’.
The weak egg which had just hatched concealed stronger energies.
It would soon grow and the shell also would become harder and stronger.
The ‘egg’ is hard and weak, but it will blink repeatedly and wake up when the egg was about to break.
That time, a warm embrace, similar to that of a mother’s, was ever-present; D was always cared for by all of you, who are connected to us.
And now is my turn; I would like to to show all of you the sky.
That gratitude to all of you, the strength that we have finally obtained.
And that’s why “BIRTH” had to be our first major song.
And then, we who have used our wings to come to the world, will soon find ourselves touching the limits of the very sky, and we know that someday we’ll find ourselves within a new egg again.
At the time, in order to be able to reach that world of an entirely new dream, it would be wonderful if we could break the shell again.
Even though, the dream will get bigger with each such instant, I would like to realize it every time.
I would like you to watch over us, you whose sentiments ultimately translate to strength.
In music, we began writing songs with the image of before; the very first segment created was the violin intro.
Since I’ve cultivated a fancy to the violin for a long time, I wanted to be able to make use of the intrument to D’s songs, that is, for “BIRTH”; in other words, since I experienced a sharp, distinct feeling of being “blessed” by “rebirth”, we decided to make a phrase like that.
And then, this time a wonderful artist called Tokifuji* Neko (not the one who appeared on the PV) performed for us.
She’s a person greatly proficient at performance and expression, so if there’s a chance, I would definitely like to work with her again! (even the name “neko” is wonderful! (laugh))
As our first major work, it’s good that we were able to showcase, and highlight our skill.
We wanted to have double-bass drums, 5-string bass, and 7-string guitars, but in particular, we wanted to include a twin-guitar solo.
On the PV too, it made a great scene!
For the next diary (entry), I would like to write about the coupling song, “musou hana”
And then, and then, it was decided that our first major one-man live performance, “BIRTH ~sora e no kaiki” (BIRTH ~revolution to the sky~), will be held at STUDIO COAST on the second day of August (Saturday)!!
As the image “dream = sky” continues to grow within me, with the dream of going major, putting in the meaning of gazing all over again, I now bear a point of commencement of a revolution.
The part of me that dreams, after realizing that dream in the real world, a new me, along with a new dream shall take birth.
Other than the live mentioned, since it has also been decided that we are to give event an performance, do look forward to summer eagerly!
The DVD for our last indies live at AKASAKA BLITZ has also been decided!!
